L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering secures offshore EPCI contract

Mumbai-based L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering has secured an offshore contract from energy major ONGC.

The contract, valued at $194m, is for engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) for a pipeline replacement project.

According to L&T, the project is part of ONGC’s strategy to replace some of its well fluid, gas lift and water injection pipelines along with brownfield modification works on existing platforms in its Mumbai High, Neelam, Heera and Bassein & Satellite in the Western Offshore field in the Arabian Sea.
