M Sea Capital confirms BP tanker deal

M Sea Capital has confirmed reports published on Splash late last month that it is behind the acquisition of three 47,000 dwt BP Shipping tankers.

The British Tranquillity, British Courtesy and British Serenity were reported sold for a price of $10.7m each.

Modi Mano, founder and CEO of M Sea Capital, confirmed the deal to Splash this week at Posidonia while attending the launch of Dagfinn Lunde’s eShipfinance.com.

M Sea Capital is headquartered in Cyprus and has a fleet of 19 vessels.
