Maersk Broker appoints Kristian Mørch as chairman

Odfjell CEO Kristian Mørch has been appointed as chairman of the board at Maersk Broker, replacing Ane Mærsk Mc-Kinney Uggla who has decided to retire.

Uggla has been on the Maersk Broker board for 24 years, and spent the last nine as chairman.

“We thank Mrs. Uggla wholeheartedly for her contribution and not least her passionate and truly inspiring leadership. The governing values of our shareholders and the strong heritage is a legacy of which we in Maersk Broker can all be proud,” the company said on social media.

Mørch had worked in various management positions in over 20 years at A.P. Moller-Maersk, including a seven-year stint at Maersk Broker. He left Maersk to join Clipper Group in 2011, and was appointed CEO of Odfjell in May 2015.
