Maersk Drilling awarded new North Sea contract by Hess

Maersk Drilling had been awarded a new contract by Hess Corporation for 2008-built jackup rig Maersk Resilient.

The rig will be operating in the Danish North Sea at the Jill exploration well. Work is scheduled to commence in September with an estimated duration of 35 days.

Maersk Resilient is currently under contract with Ithaca Energy in the UK, on a three-month contract set to end this month.

Grant Rowles

Grant spent nine years at Informa Group based in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. He gained strong management experience in publishing, conferences and awards schemes in the shipping and legal areas, working on a number of titles including Lloyd's List. In 2009 Grant joined Seatrade responsible for the commercial development of Seatrade’s Asia products. In 2012, with Sam Chambers, he co-founded Asia Shipping Media.
