Maersk Drilling jackup contract extended by Petrogas

Petrogas E&P Netherlands has exercised a one-well option with Maersk Drilling to extend the contract of 2008-built jackup rig Maersk Resolute.

The rig is currently operating on the Dutch continental shelf and the extension, estimated at 21 days, keeps it under contract though to March 2019.

Maersk Resolute has been on contract in the Dutch sector since June 2018, and is currently on a share contract between Petrogas, TAQA Energy and Dana Petroleum Netherlands. There are two options still available, one with TAQA and the other with Petrogas.
