Maersk Line appoints new East China head

Shanghai: Maersk Line will have a new head for East China. David Williams, who is the former head of Maersk Line’s South Africa division, will take up his new position in Shanghai on 8 October.

“East China organization is extremely important to our worldwide organization. While we have achieved a strong base we continue to see an immense potential to grow further. I am excited to have this opportunity to make a difference for our customers in east and central China," Williams said.

Williams, 47, has been with the AP Moller-Maersk Group since 1991. [30/08/12]
