Noble Corporation has announced that it has been given a 26-month extension from Maersk Oil for jackup rig Noble Sam Turner.
.The jackup has been extended from late June 2016 through to late August 2018 at a day rate of $96,500. The rig is currently on a day rate of $197,000, having been reduced from $218,000 per day in December 2015.
The 2014-built jackup has been operating in the Danish North Sea for Maersk Oil since it was delivered from Sembcorp’s Jurong Shipyard in Singapore.
