Maersk Supply Service awarded Brazilian contract by Shell

Maersk Supply Service has been awarded a contract by Shell to provide an integrated mooring lines life extension solution for FPSO Fluminense.

The scope includes project management, engineering, interface management and offshore execution off the coast of Rio de Janeiro.

Olivier Trouve, head of integrated solutions at Maersk Supply Service, commented: “This is an important milestone for Maersk Supply Service both locally in Brazil, and globally as we continue to grow our solutions business. From the start of the engineering phase, we have set up a centralised project team together with our customer to ensure seamless alignment.”

Offshore work is set to commence in December, and will utilise 2003-built CSV Maersk Achiever along with one or two Maersk anchor handling tug supply vessels.
