Maersk Supply Service awarded FPSO tow and mooring installation project

Maersk Supply Service has been awarded an integrated FPSO tow and mooring installation project by an operator in the North Sea.

Maersk Supply Service will provide project management, engineering and offshore execution and will utilise six anchor handling tug supply and subsea support vessels.

Olivier Trouvé, head of integrated solutions at Maersk Supply Service, commented: “The synergies gained from combining the role of vessel owner with project contractor to deliver our solution from one unified team exceeded our expectations and enabled us to meet demanding targets on scheduling, cost, and of course safety. We look forward to continuing to build on this track record within the UK sector.”
