Maersk Supply Service awarded second walk-to-work contract by Total

Maersk supply service has been awarded a walk-to-work contract by Total Denmark for 2017-built subsea support vessel Maersk Involver.

The contract is for 161 days and scheduled to commence in April 2019. The vessel will be used at the DAN F platform offshore Esbjerg for walk-to-work accomodation services.

Last year, Maersk Supply Service was awarded a three-year walk-to-work contract by Total utilising AHTS vessel Maersk Tracker.

Carsten Gram Haafensen, CCO of Maersk Supply Service, commented: “The work performed by Maersk Tracker has demonstrated that we can respond to specific client requirements and consistently deliver sake and successful operations. This second contract gives us the opportunity to showcase the advanced capabilities of Maersk Involved in the Danish North Sea and continue out cooperation with Total Denmark as a reliable long-term partner.”

Grant spent nine years at Informa Group based in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. He gained strong management experience in publishing, conferences and awards schemes in the shipping and legal areas, working on a number of titles including Lloyd's List. In 2009 Grant joined Seatrade responsible for the commercial development of Seatrade’s Asia products. In 2012, with Sam Chambers, he co-founded Asia Shipping Media.
