Marmaras pounces for Toisa kamsarmax

Greek bulker specialist Marmaras Navigation is linked to last week’s purchase of Toisa’s 82,000 dwt Trade Quest.

The Diamantides Diamantis led outfit is paying $24.50m for the two-year-old kamsarmax in a bank driven deal. The ship is a nice fit to Marmaras’ fleet that counts 28 ships.

Last year Marmaras picked up a young cape in another bank driven deal.

A bankruptcy court in the US has appointed broker Clarkson to offload the entire Toisa fleet.
