McDermott awarded Angelin EPCIC contract by BP

McDermott International has been awarded an engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning contract from BP Trinidad & Tobago for the Angelin gas field, off Trinidad and Tobago.

McDermott will provide a turnkey EPCIC solution to design, procure, fabricate, transport, install and commission a six-slot wellhead platform and 26-inch subsea pipeline, which will be installed by derrick lay vessel DLV 2000.

The contract follows the completion of a multi-phase engineering contract for the initial design and execution planning of Angelin.

“Through early engagement and aligning our respective goals, McDermott and bpTT have partnered to optimize the delivery of this very important project,” commented Scott Munro, McDermott’s vice president for Americas, Europe and Africa.
