McDermott awarded installation contract by Shell

McDermott International has been awarded a contract by Shell Exploration and Production Company for subsea umbilical and flowline installation at the Perdido development in the Gulf of Mexico.

The scope of work includes project management of engineering and installation of a flexible flowline from the well to a pipeline end termination as well as the installation of an umbilical and four electrical flying leads.

Offshore installation will be carried out by flex-lay vessel North Ocean 102 with project completion scheduled for 2019.

Grant Rowles

Grant spent nine years at Informa Group based in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. He gained strong management experience in publishing, conferences and awards schemes in the shipping and legal areas, working on a number of titles including Lloyd's List.
