McDermott wins Lucius tieback contract from Anadarko

McDermott International has been awarded a contract by Anadarko Petroleum Corporation for subsea umbilical and flowline installation to support a tieback to the Lucius field in the US Gulf of Mexico.

The contract includes engineering, fabrication, installation and pre-commissioning of subsea infield flowlines, production umbilicals and related equipment.

Scott Munro, VP for the Americas, Europe and Africa at McDermott, commented: “We appreciate Anadarko’s confidence in our experience and ability to deliver this project on schedule with the highest quality in the Gulf of Mexico.”

The flowlines will be fabricated at McDermott’s spoolbase facility in Gulfport.
