Singapore: Miclyn Express Offshore announced today that Thai jv, Uniwise Offshore, has ordered two 90tn bollard pull AHTS. The vessels are targeted for long term deployment in Thailand and will be constructed over the next eighteen months.
MEO has also ordered an additional two crew/utility vessels as part of its renewal strategy bringing the total number of these utility vessels on order to seven. The buying was complete with a “Shoalbuster” which is currently servicing a long term contract in Hay Point, Australia.
The company also announced a number of contracts have been secured worth around US$35m. [18/01/13]
