Mermaid Maritime scores subsea six

Thai offshore services outfit Mermaid Maritime has announced that it has won six subsea contracts in the Asia region, via two subsidiaries, including the company’s first ever contracts in both India and South Korea.

The deals, with an estimated total value of $15m, include subsea survey, inspection, repair and maintenance using saturation diving, air diving and the use of underwater remotely operated vehicles. Each of the projects have a working duration between 20 and 90 days.

Mermaid says that it expects most of the projects to be completed by November 2016.
