Mermaid Maritime wins new contracts for DSV pair

Thailand’s Mermaid Maritime has won new contracts for two of its dive support vessels, for work in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, worth a total of $12m.

Mermaid Commader will be utilised for a 60-day IRM contract in Malaysia, commencing in the third quarter of 2017.

Meanwhile, Mermaid Endurer will be utilised for two contracts in the Middle East also commencing in the third quarter of 2017. The vessel, along with ROV, will be used to perform combined survey, spool-piece tie-in and free span correction projects on subsea pipelines.

Earlier in the year Mermaid was awarded contracts for Mermaid Commander in Malaysia and Thailand, while Mermaid Endurer picked up two contracts for EPCIC providers in Qatar.
