Bangkok: Thai offshore outfit Mermaid Maritime has announced that its business unit Subtech in Qatar has been awarded a five-year contract for subsea services for an international upstream oil and gas operator.
The contract will be performed utilizing Mermaid’s specialized DP Barge ‘Mermaid Siam’ and the five-year deal is believed to be worth up to $25m.
The deal comes hot on the heels of deals announced recently worth up to $730m. [07/11/12]
