Bangkok: Thai offshore firm Mermaid Maritime has announced that its Middle East business units have been awarded a suite of subsea services contracts for air diving services and a subsea cable lay contract, at a total value of around $30m.
A newbuild DP2 construction barge has been chartered-in to support the subsea cable lay project, and the new projects are scheduled for commencement in December 2013 for a duration of up to six months. [27/11/13]
