Mermaid wins subsea contracts worth $26m

Thailand’s Mermaid Maritime announced the award of subsea contracts during the first quarter of 2017 worth a total of up to $26m.

Contracts won include a 42-day project for dive support vessel Mermaid Commander for saturation-diving and ROV works for riser installation, pipeline tie-ins and MOPU decommissioning in the Malaysian Peninsular and Sarawak. Upon completion, the vessel will head to the Gulf of Thailand for a 60-day pipeline installation support services contract.

Another dive support vessel Mermaid Nusantara has won a 24-day project in the Madura Sea, East Java, Indonesia, for the installation of flexible risers and umbilical between wellhead platform and FSO for an international oil and gas company.

Lastly, another dive support vessel Mermaid Endurer is carrying out two projects for international EPCIC contractors offshore Qatar.
