Singapore’s Miclyn Express Offshore has done a deal to extend the charter of its 2013-built subsea support vessel Resolution to PT Seascape Surveys Indonesia, a business unit of Thailand’s Mermaid Maritime.

Mermaid Maritime says it has extended the charter for the vessel on the back of “anticipated continuing demand for subsea services in both Indonesia and the rest of the South East Asian region” and the Indonesian-flagged vessel was in prime position to secure potential work in Indonesia.
