Beijing: The Ministry of Transport (MOT) is currently working on a new guidance for the port industry.
“MOT has already started the preparation work. As many ports are suffering from losses, MOT might restructure some ports, and the integration of Pearl River Delta ports will be part of the new guidance,” said Chen Yingming, deputy chief of China Ports & Harbors Association.
“Also MOT will make efforts to enhance the shipping capability of inland ports,” Chen said. [21/10/13]
