Cairo: In a rare Libyan ports success story, Misrata port has handled record volumes of containers this year. Located 200 km east of the capital Tipoli, Misrata, Libya’s third largest city, has handled 208,339 teu so far this year, fare more than 2012’s 159,634 teu total. The port is now being expanded.
