MOL readies ore carrier sale

One of the world’s largest names in dry bulk is offloading one of its oldest bulk carriers.

Japan’s Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) has put the 233,600 dwt Pacific Glory up for sale, marking the first time in seven years it has put an ore carrier in the shop window. VesselsValue puts a $16m price tag on the 2004-built ship.

The fresh sale candidate will be replace by two ships with delivery in 2019, of which one vessel has already hit the water.
