More Indian business targeted by Bumi Armada
Singapore: Malaysia’s Bumi Armada Bhd wants more floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) business in India.
The company's fourth FPSO vessel, Armada Sterling, on Saturday sailed away from Keppel Shipyard in Singapore to serve the India-based Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC) at the D-1 field, 200 km offshore from Mumbai.
The project is in partnership with Forbes & Company Ltd, a subsidiary of Shapoorji Pallonji Group (SPG.
Bumi Armada is the second FPSO provider in India after Reliance Industries.
