Morgan Stanley and Economou looking to sell Heidmar to FDX Capital

The Financial Times is reporting that Morgan Stanley has joined George Economou in looking to sell their stakes in tanker firm Heidmar. The two parties hold 49% stakes in the firm. Economou has been looking to hawk his stake for the past six months, while the US bank has only just started to hunt for buyers.

The FT reports Economou and Morgan Stanley are now looking to jointly sell their holdings to FDX Capital.

Morgan Stanley bought Heidmar in 2006 and two years later sold a sizeable stake to Economou.
