Dubai: Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC welcomed MS Europa 2 yesterday morning at Zayed Port, celebrating a double first: the ship’s maiden visit to Abu Dhabi and the first passenger arrivals of the new cruise season.
“Since we moved all of the container traffic to Khalifa Port, we have been investing in and developing the facilities here at Zayed Port, to improve our visitors’ experience and to properly develop the port into a global cruise destination,” said Mohamed Al Shamisi, acting ceo, ADPC.
A second ship that arrived yesterday was the AIDAdiva.
A total of 75 vessel calls are scheduled to call at Zayed Port until April 2014. [20/11/13]
