Nam Cheong adds four more

Singapore: Malaysian offshore vessel builder Nam Cheong Limited has sold another four vessels to take its order book to 25 vessels worth approximately $528.2m.
 
The four new orders are work around $92m in total, made up of three 3,000dwt PSVs to a repeat customer and a 200-man accommodation work boat to a new customer, Maridive And Oil Services based in North Africa. All four vessels are being constructed in subcontracted yards in China and classed by ABS, with deliveries scheduled between 2014 and 2015.
 
Nam Cheong ceo Leong Seng Keat commented: “We are excited about the increasing interest from customers in the oil-rich Africa and Asia regions.
