Nam Cheong in five vessel start to the year

Kuala Lumpur: Malaysian offshore shipbuilder Nam Cheong Limited has started the year well announcing orders for five vessels at a combined contract value of $70m.
 
The new orders are made up of four emergency response and rescue vessels and an anchor handling towing supply vessel (AHTS), sold to repeat customer Sentinel Marine.
 
Leong Seng Keat, Nam Cheong’s ceo said, “We are very pleased to have made a strong start in the new year, soon after reporting a record high of 24 vessel sales last month. We are also encouraged by this repeat business which shows a strong vote of confidence in the quality of our vessels." [28/01/14]
