Nam Cheong willing to take Perdana Petroleum to court over cancelled barge contract

Malaysian offshore firm Nam Cheong has said it will fight a notice of termination/cancellation from Petra Offshore, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Perdana Petroleum, for an accommodation work barge. The original contract dates back to June 2014.

Nam Cheong said in a release the cancellation is “not valid” and it is willing to seek legal redress if necessary.
