Nanjing readies for 50,000 dwt ships

 

Shanghai: Nanjing has started the Phase 1 construction of its Yangtze River International Shipping Service Center this month. The total investment on the project will be RMB50bn. 
“During the next five years, the progress of the Yangtze river dredging project will make Nanjing Port available for 50,000 dwt ships, we are developing Nanjing into a river-ocean transportation center,” said a Nanjing government official.  [16/07/12]
