Nanjing Tanker secures domestic oil shipping contract

Sinotrans & CSC-affiliated Nanjing Tanker has announced that it has signed an oil product shipping contract with Chongqing Longhai Petrochemical.

Under the agreement, Nanjing tanker will transport 1m-1.5m tons of oil products for Longhai Petrochemical each year.

Nanjing Tanker completed cargo shipping volumes of 3.42m tons in the first half of 2016, up 106.1% year-on-year.

Nanjing Tanker said it is using more chartered tankers, with the company’s chartered tankers completing a volume of 642k tons in the first half of 2016, up 279%.
