Shanghai: Nanjing Ocean Shipping (NASCO) has signed shipbuilding contracts with Taizhou Kouan Shipbuilding for the construction of four 55,500dwt bulkers.
The price for each vessel is around $25m and deliveries are scheduled in 2016.
NASCO currently operates a fleet of 22 bilkers, having also acquired a second hand 44,600dwt bulker from NSC Schiffahrts this month. [28/04/14]
