Nathalin snaps up aframax

Privately owned Thai owner Nathalin is eying more ships.  Several brokers report the Southeast Asian tanker specialist has taken on the 106,000 dwt  Trident Star from Global United Shipping. The eleven-year-old Namura built aframax is costing around $26m.

This is Nathalin’s first acquisition for a number of years. The Thai owner’s fleet is made up of around 20 different ships of different sizes.
