Shanghai: CSSC-affiliated Jiangnan Shipyard has entered into agreements with Navigator Gas to construct one 21,000 cu m LPG carrier and two 22,000 cu m LPG carriers for a combined price of $138m. The order includes options for a further two 22,000 cu m LPG carriers which is exercisable by October this year. The vessels are scheduled for delivery in 2015.
Navigator Gas ordered up to six 21,000 cu m LPG carriers at Jiangnan Shipyard in 2012, the first one is expected to be delivered in April, 2014.
Currently, six LPG carriers in Navigator Gas’ fleet were also built by Jiangnan Shipyard. [22/07/13]
