Navigator Holdings appoints Henry Deans as CEO

Gas ship owner Navigator Holdings has appointed Henry “Harry” Deans as its new chief executive officer.

Deans will step into the role on August 22, replacing David Butters who will continue on as chairman of the company.

Commenting on the appointment, Butters said: “I am delighted that Harry Deans has agreed to join the company as chief executive officer and I look forward to working with him and to continue to grow and develop the company over the coming months and years. I have been impressed with Harry’s considerable knowledge and understanding of the petrochemical industry since becoming a non-executive director of the company last year, so I am very pleased to pass the chief rxecutive role to a highly capable leader in Harry Deans.”

Deans has been a member of the Navigator board since November 2018 and his work history includes holding a series of CEO positions for affiliates and subsidiaries of INEOS between 2006 and 2015.
