Listed companies continue to dominate the S&P headlines. Last week New York-listed Navios Maritime Partners gave limited details of its ongoing fleet renewal, saying that it had purchased two ships for $42.5m.
Splash is now able to reveal the identity of the ships Navios has bought. The Angeliki Frangou-led company has taken a seven-year-old former Hanjin capesize as well as an eight-year-old supramax called Christine B.
Navios Maritime Partners has been beefing up its fleet all year and remains focused on further acquisitions.
