NCB vows to fight corruption

Port Klang: Port and logistics operator NCB Holdings Bhd (NCB) has signed a corporate integrity pledge with its subsidiaries to work together to create a fair and transparent business environment without corruption.

NCB and its two subsidiaries, Northport Sdn Bhd and logistics and haulage arm Kontena Nasional Bhd, have signed the pledge.

Former Kontena Nasional’s ceo Hood Osman was charged earlier this month with criminal breach of trust of company funds amounting to RM9.9m.

In August this year the company announced that it had found financial irregularities at Kontena Nasional. [24/12/14]
