NEPA boss on the headache of counterparty risks

Hong Kong: Captain Pappu Sastry, director and principal of NEPA Projects and Investment, is the latest person to star on Splash TV.

Sastry described what his wide ranging company has been up to of late – starting an MPP pool, about to launch a dry bulk pool as well as looking at the offshore industry in Africa.

Sastry also discussed problems facing the industry.

“The entry level for becoming an operator is so low,” he said, adding: “It’s difficult to judge who is credible and who is not. The counterparty risk is the biggest headache we have.”
