New CEO appointed at Siem Offshore

Norwegian OSV operator Siem Offshore has announced that Idar Hillersøy has tendered his resignation as chief executive officer of the company citing personal reasons. Hillersøy had served in the CEO role since August 2015.

The board has appointed Bernt Omdal, the current head of chartering, as new chief executive officer.

In addition, Siem Offshore also appointed Tore Lillestø as chief operating officer of the company.
