New container shipping brand debuts

There’s a new name in container shipping following a merger.

South Pacific specialist Neptune Pacific Direct Line has debuted as a new brand this month, following Neptune Pacific Line’s March purchase of Pacific Direct Line from Singapore’s troubled Pacific International Lines (PIL).

The carrier will issue bills of lading under the new company name from next week.
