New floating dock for Abu Dhabi Ship Building

Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) has commissioned its first floating dock in Mina Zayed to service ships that were previously too large to be handled at its headquarters in Mussafah. The new dock is 180 m long and 30 m wide.

“The facility now enables ADSB to service the oil and gas industry and the company aims to attract new customers across diverse industries through a network of agents representing 16 countries across Europe and Asia who will market the new facility,” the company said in a statement.
