Mumbai: A new liner service connecting India with Myanmar is set to launch soon. State-run Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) will run a route connecting Chennai with Yangon via Sri Lanka.
"I am happy to share that the Liner Division is poised to launch a new container service to Myanmar in the first week of October 2014,"Arun Kumar Gupta, chairman and managing director of SCI said in a statement on the company’s website. [29/09/14]
