Singapore: Jurong Port has appointed Ooi Boon Hoe as ceo, replacing Matthew Chan who is retiring. Ooi was previously with another Singapore port company, Portek, while before that he was with DBS Bank. He started his career in the navy.
Under Chan, Jurong pursued a policy of international expansion, something Ooi is likely to continue. [21/08/14]
