Doha: Port construction at Alleith is underway designed to relieve port congestion in Saudi Arabia’s Western Province.
The port will be built over a 43m sq m area extending from Haffar town in the south to Salam Al-Zawahir village, north of Haffar centre.
Alleith is one of a number of ports planned in the kingdom, with Saudi Arabia willing to spend billions of dollars in the coming years to improve its ports set up. [10/02/14]
