Ningbo Dayu Shipping orders six bulkers at Jiangdong Shipyard

Wuhu-based Jiangdong Shipyard has signed shipbuilding contracts with Ningbo Dayu Shipping for the construction of six 9,800dwt bulk carriers.

The vessels, which will be designed by Ningbo Oriental Ship Design Institute, are scheduled for delivery between 2017 and 2018. Other contract details were not revealed.

Jiangdong Shipyard is an affiliate shipyard of Sinotrans & CSC, it mainly builds bulk carriers and feeder containerships.
