Dubai: The managing director of the National Iranian Tanker Company is confident his ships will be trading in European waters within a couple of months following the decision last week by the EU to scrap sanctions against the company.
Ali-Akbar Safaei said if the European Commission does not appeal against the ruling of the court in two months, NITC will be completely removed from the sanctions list. Sanctions against NITC have been in place since 2012. [07/07/14]
