Noble Corp wins new drillship and jackup contracts

Offshore driller Noble Corporation has announced several new contracts and extensions in its latest fleet status report.

2014-built drillship Noble Sam Croft has been awarded a contract by W&T Offshore for operations in the US Gulf of Mexico. The vessel will commence the contract in the first quarter of 2019, and on completion will head to South American for a one-well contract with an unnamed company.

Another 2014-built drillship, Noble Tom Madden, has had its contract in Guyana extended by Esso through to mid-February 2019.

Additionally, 2014-built jackup rig Noble Tom Prosser has been awarded several contracts in Australia. Santos, CarbonNet/AGR, and Esso have all separately contracted the rig for drilling starting March 2019 through to at least April 2020.

Jackups Noble Mick O’Brien, Noble Hans Deul, Noble Joe Beall and Noble Gene House have all been awarded extensions.
