Noble Corporation gets extensions from Saudi Aramco for jackup pair

Offshore driller Noble Corporation has secured contract extensions for two of its jackup rigs from Saudi Aramco according to the company’s latest fleet status report.

The Noble Roger Lewis has been awarded an extension to serve Saudi Aramco for another five years from March 2017 when the current contract expires, while Noble Scott Marks also received a contract renewal for another five years from July 2017.

The day rate of each contract has been lowered to $159,000 from $167,000.
