Noble Corporation secures pair of new contracts

Offshore driller Noble Corporation has secured new contracts for a drillship and a jackup drilling rig, according to the company’s latest fleet status report.

The 2014-built jack up rig Noble Houston Colbert has been awarded a one-year contract by Dolphin for work offshore Qatar starting from February 2018, while the 2013-built drillship Noble Bob Douglas has secured a contract from an undisclosed client for work in the US Gulf of Mexico for a period of three months starting from late November this year.

Noble Houston Colbert is currently warm stacked after it completed a contract with JX Nippon in July and Noble Bob Douglas is currently on a contract with Tullow in Suriname.
